works fine even in non hacked N95 8GB phone.. The settings and Garmin online are very useful...

Note: If anyone connect their phone in to PC in "Data transfer" mode and installing Garmin using exe file posted, all the program installed on Mass memory will go. Because the Garmin installation process will overwrite e:/Private directory. If you have installed programs on Memory Card, the programs will not work because you can find lots of directory created in e:/Private for each program. I would suggest you to install on a blank SD card and copy individual folders and files to your mobile phones Mass Memory/Memory card from the SD Card. Hope this write-up helps.

Why on earth does it do that? lucky i just got mine back from repair and nothing installed then!

I installed version 5.00.00 and tried it on the road with my N95 8Gb. I decided to switch back to version 4.20.20 due to 2 reasons (correct me if I am wrong):

1) When viewing map or routing, the compass triangle (bottom-left of map) pointing North is missing on version 5.00.00.

2) In older version, when you are routing on a long straight road, you will see something like "12.5km" near to the top-left before the name of the location/road. It is again missing in the latest version. So you cannot tell the distance before the next turn.
