Security:
You can password protect and encrypt your data stored in Best Safe. To enable security use 'Set Password' command. After you specify a password all your data will be encrypted. Every time you open Best Safe the application asks you for the password. When you work with the application all data encryption/decryption is performed on the fly and absolutely transparent to you.

If you want to disable password protecting of your data by some reason you can use 'Change password' command and specify empty password.

To keep your data secure we use BlowFish encryption and MD5 message digest algorithms.

Please note: your password is not stored anywhere inside the application or on the device in order to increase safety. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs (digital signs say nothing about your password nature). It means that no person (including the application developers) can open and see your data without specifying correct password. Please don't forget your password as there's no way to access your data without it!


Security options:
You can set up automatic application lock (password screen appears when the application is locked). To do so you can use Security options command and specify inactivity time period. E.g. specifying 15 seconds here means if during 15 seconds you don't work with your device (don't touch any key, etc) Best safe application will ask the password again before you can continue to work with the application.



Export/Import:
If you want to backup your data you can use Export command. The application exports your data in comma separated text file. Please note that this file is not encrypted and you can open it in readable form in Excel application on your desktop PC. You can import your data to the application using "Import" command. Please note that when you import data it just adds cards listed in the importing file to the existing database. If you already have the same card in the database you will get its duplicate.

Search:
You can find the needed card using "Search" command. Just specify a part of text you want to find and application will look for the needed cards for you. Search function will analyse all cards in all folders and will search for specified text in all fields in the card.

S60-3RD EDITION BEST CALL RECORDER




This is a fully customisable call recording application with rules for saving conversations for incoming/outgoing calls from known/unknown numbers. Easy to use and extremely discrete

How to start:

Activate Best CallRecorder - for this select Settings command from menu, then toggle the Activate option to On state.
To have Best CallRecorder saving only those phone conversations you need, select Rules command from menu and set the rules according to your requirements;

Records view:


The main view of Best CallRecorder shows all phone conversation records. Here you can listen to those records, delete them and get detailed information about a record. The list of operations with records is following:

Play record. While playing a record, you can change the volume with joystick left/right moves;
Call a contact or a phone number. If the highlighted record has a phone number associated, you can dial it even without exiting Best CallRecorder - just press the Call button or select this command;
Properties - displays a dialog with detailed information about the record;
Delete (hot key: 'C') - deletes the marked records;
Delete all;
Pack - deletes all records from the list which don't have a sound file associated (e.g. if it was manually deleted);
Refresh - reloads the list of records;

Record rules:

Best CallRecorder allows creating the rules of following types:

Default - this rule will be put into action if none of the active rules is used;
Unknown - if caller's number cannot be defined this rule will be used;
Contact - you can set a separate rule for a specific contact;
Group - a rule for a group of contacts;
Phone - a rule for a phone number. You can use a mask for phone numbers. A match pattern can contain wildcard characters "*" and "?", where "*" matches zero or more consecutive occurrences of any character and "?" matches a single occurrence of any character.
Example:
'*111' - all numbers ending at 111;
'111*' - all numbers beginning with 111;
'12?34' - all numbers like 12034, 12134 ... 12934;
Each rule can have the following actions set to perform when the rule is matched:

Ask before record - if this action is selected, Best CallRecorder will ask you whether to record a phone call or not;
Record incoming calls - allows recording incoming calls;
Record outgoing calls - allows recording outgoing calls;
Note: If you haven't chosen any action or have chosen only Ask before record, this rule will be disabled


Settings:


In this dialog you can configure the following settings:

Activate (Turn on / turn off)
Record format (amr / wav)
Records memory (Phone memory / Memory card)
Max record time (unlimited / MM:SS)
Name format (First Last name / Last First name)

mWallet

As you might have noticed, I've posted quite a few of these Wallet applications. Seems like there are a whole load of them, each one better than the last.

Just like all the other apps, mWallet is an info store application. However, I'd have to say this is the best one I've seen so far. Mostly because it has some extra categories that you can store under. mWallet also includes a section for Insurance policy details, and can add reminders for when your policies expire, and it has a membership info section too. A software serial numbers section has also been included, which I find particularly useful to store serial numbers for all my important PC / PDA / Phone apps.

If you need a wallet app, I'd say get rid of what you have and use this one.
