Try v5.00 for 3 days and I decided to use older version (v4.2). Why? So many weaknesses in this release. Try yourself.

i am using N82 and i have successfully installed the garmin software i have the problem on installing maps

can anyone tell me how to install maps ?

i have downloaded the malsing maps but it is in exe format !!

and how to get it works on internal GPS ?

Why don't you share with us the weakness you found on v5.00.00?

Instaled in my N82 and it doesn't work. I can't see the images. they are mixed in my display. What is the problem?

Possibly wrong installation most probably due to the mix-up of old and new files during upgrade. This is the correct way to upgrade.

1) Run the exe file on your PC. This will create files/subfolders under "Garmin" directory in your PC.

2) Connect Nokia phone to PC under "Data Transfer" mode.

3) In your phone's Memory Card, delete all SIS files as well as all subfolders (and their files) under "Garmin" except "POI", "GPX", "Vehicle" and "Voice".

4) Delete any SIS file under main folder "Garmin". DO NOT delete *img or *.unl files as they are your current maps and license files.

5) Now transfer GarminMobileXT.sis as well as all subfolders (including "POI", "GPX", "Vehicle" and "Voice" and their files) in step 1) to your memory card's "Garmin" folder. Click Yes when prompted to overwrite files or folders.

6) Disconnect your phone from PC to go back to normal view. Go to File Manager and run/install GarminMobileXT.sis.
