Everyone knows that there are millions of cool things you can do with your mobile phone. Watching movies is old already. The latest and coolest thing is to play mobile games. Play roulette, blackjack, slot machines or other cool games, and hit the jackpots for real money.

Well, the boys and girls over at Seven have been working hard. I was mightily impressed with Seven's beta of their upcoming new version. I recommend giving their new version a try - the beta is open to the public.
To use the service sign up for their beta program and create an account (the beta is free). You can then download the necessary software directly to your device or via your computer.
You accept the usual legal Mumbo Jumbo, enter your mobile phone number (they will ask for your number when you register your account).
Then you pick the email account you want to enable on your device. The software supports multiple accounts. Since I use Mail For Exchange for my corporate email I was mainly interested to try out the Yahoo! and Gmail integration.
More legal Mumbo Jumbo, this time from Yahoo! but after that the set up is easy-peasy.
You only need to enter your Yahoo! (Gmail) ID and your password, the software takes care of the rest of the server settings - they way it should be.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how quick this process was. Within seconds I was signed in and my email started to show up!
Another nice feature during the set up procedure is that you can see how much of your email (in percentage) has been downloaded to the device.
The software supports push email of Yahoo! and Gmail. Most of the time this works great but since it is a beta product there are times when the Seven server seems to be disconnected and nothing comes through, or at least it is not pushing the email in real time.
Having said that I think there is great potential for the service! It is easy to set up and use. I also like the integration with my Yahoo! email account. Email read on my device will automatically be marked as "read" when I log on to Yahoo! from my PC.
