i put my psp in usb mode and i downloaded a video frm google video in .mp4 format for psp. i followed the instructions ritten over [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] and the video still dint come in my psp can ny 1 help?
p.s wen i put it in the 100anv file or mnv file it shows the file as .aac. i tried some other combinations 2
1) Create a folder by the name "MP_ROOT" in the root directory of your mem stick
2) Create a subfolder in MP_ROOT by the name of "100MNV01"
Just a reminder, the 100MNV01 folder goes inside the MP_ROOT folder. The PSP requires video (M4V) and thumbnail (THM) files must be named starting with M4V and ending with five random numbers ie. M4V12345.
Phone Model: Nokia 6600,6680,K700i,N95,N79, Iphone 3G.

yeah i forgot to tell him about the folder but by using the software on the link above, it automatically renames the file for you and all you need is to copy/paste in the folder.
cool man thx but the thing is tht i renamed it n did exactly as u stated but if the file is mp4, do i hav to rename the file and end it as .mp4 too? can there b a prob with the data cable? is it possible
As long as the PC is showing the contents of folders of your mem stick, and the PSP is in USB Mode, there shouldn't be any problem with the data cable.
Yes, you have to rename the .MP4 file. For example, the file you converted has the name "Linkin Park - Crawling.MP4", now you have to rename the file to "M4v20015.MP4" (for example). The same name has to applied to the .THM file, in the form of "M4V20015.THM".
If you have Nokia PC Suite installed, the THM file will have the icon of an .acc file, but that doesn't matter. Just copy the two files (MP4 & THM) onto the MP_Root --> 100MNV01 folder.
