Help pls.. Error: 80020148

Hi., I nid help.. I downloaded a couple games. 2 of them kinda work meaning I can play them (but somewhere in the game something always goes wrong) but the rest of the games I downloaded, when i start them it shows:

"GAME CANNOT BE STARTED Error: 80020148"

I have a 3.71 M33 version.

And I just bought a new mem.stick where I have been saving these games. Can anyone help me ASAP?

Please?? I'd be really greatful..

Try entering the recovery mode, don't use the "no-umd" option. Then insert an umd in the slot and then start the game.

Thanks for a response..

Though I didnt do what you suggested..,
I copied my old memory card and put on the new games.., it works fine now.

I think it had something to do with the 2 hidden files I didnt have on my new mem.stick..

But still.., THANKS

Hi.., Ok so I was kinda wrong and kinda right.., SOME of the games startd to work. But then some just still dont. I dloaded Bravestory and it worked fine then I put on another game and then it frooze. So I deleted that and started to play Bravestory AGAIN but thn the error 80020148 came out..

I tried ur suggestion but thn another error came out and ALL my games that are savd on my memory didnt work which was: 80020321. So I put the no-umd option back to my settings but the same 80020148 came out.. My others games work..?

Help please?? The games I really want to play are the ones not working..

Are you sure you have a umd in the back slot?

Yes i'm sure.., i've been searching the the net for solutions and tried almost everything.,

And another that I just found out.., now some of my UMD's wont work like LocoRoco and Tekken but they were woking fine before..

WTF works.. (These are UMDs of mine and not CSO's or ISO's)

Oh and Ape Academy ISO worked fine too before.. Now its 80020148..
Its getting worse and worse...

I tried reformatting my mem.stick and my UMD worked for a period of time (not more than 1 day) I was in the middle of the game and it frooze automatically powered and when I trid starting it again the error appeared once again and now I'm stuck all over.. Any body? Pleasseee??

3.71 seems so unstable... hmm

try this:

eboots in the GAME150 folder? Are you talking about when connecting the USB to my PC or when till in recovery mode?

If USB o PC and the GAME150 folder theres nothin in there.?

it seems that you didn't install the 1.50 add-on for the 3.71. anyway, for the errors, try to lower your cpu speed to just to the default. and if that doesn't work, re-install your 3.71 m33
