PS1 game not working on psp

I converted my ps1 game to an eboot and ran it on my psp. After some screen about the manual, the screen turns black and a few seconds later, it says the game could not be started. I did everything the tutorial told me to do. what's wrong?

What version do you have?

3.52 m33-4. But my friend has the same one and I've seen him play ps1 games on psp. I asked him and he said I need pops plugin. Where can I get it?

there's a homebrew called popstation..
just search for it on dl.qj.net. once installed, you should be able to play it without any problem

or you could ask him for the "key" file. it's a very small file that accompany the eboot. without this, you can't start the game.
