Which firmware should i buy?

hi@all

i think about buying a psp. i know sth about it, but not everything, so, which firmware should i buy? on ebay there are psp's with 2.71, but is it downgradeble?

firmware 2.71 is downgradeable and i think you should buy it unless you want to buy psp with firmware 1.5 so you dont have to worry about downgrading. But both them are upgradeable to dark_alex custom firmware wich you can use to play homebrew and iso games. but on firmware 2.71 you have to first upgrade it to 2.71se(special edition) to upgrade it to dark_alex custom firmware. Or you can just buy psp with custom firmware.

I would advise 1.50 as it's the best firmware ever.

i wanna buy a psp 4 sure with warranty, and there are on ebay some psps with 24month warranti and firmware 2.70. so i can buy this psp, then upgrade to 2.71se and then upgrade to 3.10oe-a, am i right?
