I have made up my mind to get a smartphone, but I have no idea which one would best serve my needs. I'm a lawyer, but I am definitely crazy about technology, and interested in new things with the most additions. Any Ideas???

Well what are your needs? Do you absolutely have to have a smartphone (not a pocketpc)? Will you be getting a data plan? What carrier do you plan on using it with? Will you be willing to buy and unlocked phone, or do you want one from the carrier?

Recommending a phone without really knowing why it's needed is really hard to do.

yeah if you don't need a touchscreen i would say N95 would be a good choice.
i have a PPC (HTC Prophet) with touchscreen and it is really annoying that i have to take out the pen everytime to use it. for me a non-touchscreen device is the best choice for an average user.
and N95 has good hardware, for example seperate GPU, and is ngage2 compatible. so if you want to play some real good games
