Pocket Watch is loaded via the Start menu. Upon loading, the main interface of the program is displayed. From top to bottom: home city and date, global map, four cities and their times, and menu bar (including the active clock group selector).

The home city and date abide by whatever is set in the system Clock settings.

The world picture represents daytime and nighttime across the globe. As the equinoxes approach, the curve will become quite straight -- as the solstices approach, it will resemble a sine wave. The curve moves from left to right.

The four cities are selected points of interest where time is tracked -- and there are four panels of these available to the user. By tapping the 1-4 buttons on the menu bar, the different clock groups will be shown.

The city editor allows for the creation and deletion of cities. The Pocket PC comes pre-loaded with over 470 cities in ROM, which Pocket Watch ties into for world information. You are not able to delete these -- but by clicking on the Location button, one may see where on the globe the city is located.

Pocket Watch also provides sunrise and sunset information, via the menu item on the Tools menu. By selecting a city and date, one may find the sunrise, sunset, and daylight hours information pertinent to that locale. Four types of sunrise/sunset are available -- standard sunrise and sunset (when the sun touches the horizon), civil twilight (defined as when the sun is at six degrees below the horizon, when enough light is available for normal social enjoyment), nautical twilight (defined as when the sun is twelve degrees below the horizon, when one may distinguish landmasses from sea), and astronomical twilight (defined as when the sun is eighteen degrees below the horizon, when there is minimal light contribution by the sun).

Pocket Watch is skinnable -- by copying a different world.bmp to the directory where Pocket Watch is installed, one may tap the "reload image" button in the Options screen to load in the new world "skin."

Timekeeper is a customizable high-resolution stop watch for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile 2003 devices. Packaged with unique activity skins, Timekeeper allows you to time a relay, clock a chess match, or bake an apple pie. When time is up, Timekeeper wakes the device and alerts you! ContactBreeze adds a new tab on the PocketBreeze Tabs Toolbar, alongside your Calendar, Tasks, and Special Events, giving you quick access and special searching capabilities contacts from your Today screen.


Search your contacts one of two ways using the "ABC" search bar in ContactBreeze.

Search Methods




ContactBreeze offers two searching methods and gives you the ability to quickly toggle between them using the search toggle method button (right next to the main Contacts button).


Initials Search - The traditional search method for contacts used by most PIMs in the market. Tap the "ABC" search bar at the bottom of the ContactBreeze display to view contacts starting with a specific letter. Tapping the button "ABC" once will show all contacts starting with an A. Tapping it again will show all contacts starting with the letter B, and so on.


Sequence Search - This is a dynamic search method, used on most cell phones. Each time you press one of the letter buttons ContactBreeze will show all contacts including that letter. As you tap more letter keys, ContactBreeze will show contacts containing that sequence of letters. If you have about 500 contacts, three taps will usually reduce the list showing on the page to three or four. The selected sequence of letters is highlighted on the contact name. Most users prefer this method after trying it the first time.

Full Screen Searching


Tapping the ContactBreeze icon brings up the full screen mode, allowing you to search for contacts without using your stylus. The ContactBreeze icon was also designed large enough to press without a stylus.


Using the large keyboard you can search for contacts using your selected search method. While working in full mode the D-Pad can browse through your contacts list. Pressing the Action button - the center of your D-Pad - opens the contact detail window, a pop-up window similar to the PocketBreeze Notes pop-up. This shows all available phone numbers and e-mail addresses for that contact. Pressing it again closes the contact detail window. This allows you to navigate for contacts without using your stylus!

HandyLauncher 3.2


HandyLauncher is a program that gives you a fast and easy way for accessing your most used programs, documents, images, files, ... anything.
With HandyLauncher you can launch the programs that you like or use most with a simple tap on your Pocket PC screen.
It uses only 70 KB of ram, and compatible with all Pocket PC 2002/2003 devices.

HandyLauncher adds an icon to the tray on the bottom of the today screen. Tapping on this icon will bring the shortcuts menu up, and there simple tap will launch the program you want. You can customize all the shortcuts and separators to add or delete whatever you like.
You can also assign a hardware button to HandyLauncher so you can get access to it from within any program. This makes HandyLauncher better than other launchers that work only from the today screen.

Unlike the Start Menu, HandyLauncher can launch any program whether it has a shortcut in the programs folder or not, and you can choose the order of the shortcuts and rename them if you like. With HandyLauncher, you can add shortcut to any program whether it is installed in the main memory or in a different storage.

You can even customize HandyLauncher icon, so it looks better with your very own theme, and also the menu title is customizable.

XCPUScalar 2.86

XCPUScalar allows you to dynamically scale the processor speed of your handheld Pocket PC 2002, Windows Mobile 2003 and WM2003 SE. It uses the power of the XSCALE processor and unlocks its dynamic scaling capabilities. You can scale the processor speed from 100 to 728MHz. By scaling the processor speed down, you can increase the battery life between recharges or increase the speed when you need more power for playing games or multimedia programs that require more CPU power.



The speed can be scaled from 100 to 300MHZ on the fly for the iPaq 1910 ,100 to 500MHz for PXA250 XSCALE processors and 100 to 530MHz at 265MHz bus for PXA255, PXA26x, and 104 to 728MHz for PXA270 or higher processors. Use the Auto Scaling capability of XCPUScalar and assign your own speeds to different CPU loads as shown in the picture above.
