Click Here To Register...] for HTC smartphones using the Qualcomm MSM7500 and MSM7200 chipsets (which includes the HTC flagship smartphone, the HTC Kaiser), the group of enthusiasts has put up a $5,000 reward for anyone that is able to craft their own homebrew video driver that is capable of boosting the devices’ video performance.
Actually, the bounty for a working video-acceleration driver is set at $5,199.5. Instead of looking towards [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] (as HTC would have them do), these guys are taking matters into their own hands. Keep in mind that the HTC Class Action Organization also put up a $3,000 reward for a working video driver - to no avail.

Still, Mozilla has launched their Firefox Mobile Wiki to give all of us a peak at what the Mozilla code-monkeys are brewing up. The new mobile browser will apparently be offered in touchscreen and non-touchscreen flavors.
The touchscreen variant of Firefox Mobile should feature an intuitive, familiar, tap-based (no stylus) interface that will require 1-2 taps to access the most common features. Non-touchscreen fans will be able to use a cursor to move around web-pages. But, from the looks of it, the touchscreen version is where it’s at.

Developer Spotlight: DiVitas Unwires the Enterprise
Fixed-mobile convergence is coming, thanks to Forum Nokia PRO developer [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] of Mountain View, California. The company's Mobile Unified Communications solution consists of a server that is placed in the enterprise and a client that resides in S60 3rd Edition devices. The service works with any network, S60 device , carrier or PBX. One customer, New College Durham in the U.K., uses the solution to give PC services — including e-mail and calendaring — to its mobile-device users. Forum Nokia helped by providing DiVitas developers with early access to APIs, help with battery usage and access to plug-ins and SDKs.
