The next installment of the widely acclaimed franchise Call of Duty will be lunched on November 9, various sites report, based on an indiscretion committed by an Activison official during a press event.
The game wil have PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions and is eagerly awaited because Activison is leaving the 1940s period and brings the action into the contemporary era.
But Activison didn’t confirm the report and it said the game will be released this “winter”. “We can’t confirm or deny this, we can only say that Call of Duty 4 is out this coming Winter,” an Activision
PR official said, quoted by Spong.
Maybe they will announce more details at the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig which is set to begin on August 22.
Acivision said that in the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare players will assume the roles of a a U.S Marine and British S.A.S and will fight their way through an unfolding story full of twists and turns on battlefields where speed, accuracy and coordination are essential.
Also the game, which is developed by the original creators of the franchise, Infinity Ward, brings a new multiplayer experience, featuring create-a-class options and allowing players to customize gear that is best suited for play.
