This demo is made by third party other than Vampent. Vampent have tried some improvements with this demo. Note: it is only a demo. It is even not playable because of the low speed. It shows that some other groups have tried to make even greater emulators for symbian mobiles.
This demo also illustrates it is quite hard to emulate GBA with full speed in current Symbian hardware environment. However, it CAN emulate GBA with approximately 5 fps on normal S60.
Usage:

Quick Notes:
*N70 users must use default theme to avoid that PicoDrive closes when you try to load a ROM.It applies to all phones whose owners are experiencing the same problem
*Use your phone's default font to see the region selector in "screen options".If you use another font, it won't appear
*enabling all sound chips improves compatibility.Try it when some game crashes
*To disable sound emulation and having the games running almost full speed with no frame skipping, go to "Configure sound" and disable Z80, YM2612 and SN76496."Volume" doesn't make any change in sound emulation.It's only a volume control
*if you notice the sound lose synchrony, press "C" two times to get it working fine again
*your phone may freeze totally if you get a incoming call, switch to other application, hold menu key, or get a "battery low" warning (or any other kind of popup) while PicoDrive is running a game.ALWAYS go to main menu before switching to another application
*If after starting a game you go to main menu, switch to another application and then switch back to PicoDrive, the emulator won't allow two keys to be pressed at the same time anymore.When this happens, use a application such as AppMan, and switch to "Main" application.In some phones, you can just hold Menu and switch to "Main", though i'm not sure if it also works.
*There's a bug in "Interpolate" option.To change Interpolate status, you MUST select any screen option (Portrait, Landscape left, Landscape right, Portrait stretched or Portrait Full) AFTER enabling or disabling "Interpolate".You don't need to "change" screen mode.Just selecting the one you're using is enough
*There's a small problem with patch support that it's decreasing the address by 1.That means, if you want to write FF to the address 0x2424, you have to enter this in Picodrive:

just make sure to download ROMs marked with a [!] , since they are the good dumps.ROMs that don't have this sign in their file names aren't totally faithfull to the real cartridge.
if you experience any problem with some game (some glitch, very very very slow speed, or crashes): enable all three sound chips, turn on "accurate spites" and "accurate timing", and turn off "alt. renderer".If the game still doesn't work, enable "alt. renderer".If even so there's no success, please DO report it in this topic the game that's not working.
"Virtua Racing" doesn't work cause Sega Virtua Processor emulation isn't implemented yet."Strider Returns" has wrong colors.It should be fixed in the next release
What file to download?
picodrives60_1st0_60.zip is intented for use with S60 1st edition devices, such as Ngage.
picodrives602nd0_60.zip is for S60 2nd edition phones, such as 6600, 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682 and 7610.

Mame (the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is an arcade game emulator for PCs that has been ported to many platforms. E2MAME is a port of MAME for mobile phones running the symbian operating system. E2MAME is free software and currently runs on:
* Series 60 phones: Nokia N-Gage, Siemens SX-1, Nokia 6600, and probably most other models. The very first Series 60 models, the Nokia 7650 and Nokia 3650, can only run the miniature version of E2MAME, called "Micro-E2MAME", due to very limitied memory.
* Series 60 Feature pack 2 phones, e.g., Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680. These models, surprisingly, have a bit less free memory than earlier Series 60 phones; therefore only Mini-E2MAME runs on these.
* UIQ phones: Motorola A920/A925/A1000, and maybe more?
* The Nokia 9500 and 9300 Communicators.
* The Nokia 7710 are supported by Mini-E2MAME.
The phones I have access to are the Nokia N-Gage, the Nokia 6680, the Motorola A925, and the Nokia 9500. They are what I use for testing, and I have very limited possibilities to fix bugs that only occur on specific hardware that I do not possess.
E2MAME is based on EMame, a Symbian port of MAME for Psion and SonyEricsson devices by Peter van Sebille.More information about MAME on these devices and Peter's other Symbian projects. Peter van Sebille also wrote "ECompXL," a utility that creates self-extracting executables on the Symbian platform. ECompXL is essential for building E2MAME (and EMame). Thanks Peter for the great work with both EMame and ECompXL!
Installation
Download the version of EEMame that was compiled for your device, and install it the same way you would any other Symbian application.
Game roms
To play games with Mame, you need roms for the games you want to play. There are no roms supplied with EEMame, so you have to obtain them elsewhere. The actual directory where you should put your rom zip files depends on what device you have as follows: Device Internal memory MMC
