Nine out of ten memory puzzle games on mobile are adult titles. It's true. If you're matching blocks to make them disappear and reveal a photo underneath, chances are it's revealing in the erotic sense of the word.
Alvin and the Chipmunks, thankfully, falls into the other 10 per cent of memory puzzlers (unless there's a secret mode we haven't heard of, but that doesn't bear thinking about). You have to match icons to reveal pics of squeaky-voiced Alvin and his chipmunk mates Simon and Theodore.
It's based on the all-new movie remake of the original TV show, apparently. And we wonder how many hardcore chipmunk fans there are out there, and whether they'll be happy with a memory puzzler rather than another genre of game?
Still, if you really can't get enough of the beaver* family's equivalent of the Bee Gees, then it may be worth a look.
(*chipmunks are related to beavers, aren't they? With those teeth, they should be.)
