hye there, i'm kalpesh from malaysia (erm hope u all know where it is located) well i'm planning and already decided to buy nokia n80, and i'm quite to these symbian software, i have a few questions thats really bothering me,hope you all can help me..
1. The N80 comes wif S60 3rd edition (Symbian OS , Series 60 UI), so if lets say, use applications for S90 or 91, can i sue those applications?? izit not like Windows, whereby it downward and upward compatible?? pls help me with these.
2.the software, for nokia and sony ericsson, izit 2 different softwares?? i think that sony ericsson also uses OS 9.1 or wat, so does that mean i can use those application on my nokia??
3. Games, i know n80 support java games, but lets say sony ericsson java type games, can i play those games as well?? and why not?? also, these nokia n-gage phone, the games platform is different izit?? and izit possible for me to play n-gage games on my n80? or do i need to upgrade something? pls help me with these questions, Thank you somuch.
I dont use the N80 mobile so dont anything about tha but sarch the solution on google bvy typing the N80 Help and Troublshooting. You will get your answers for sure.

In a good and normal post you'll see the compatible devices. The applications for s60 3rd coming in SIS format, you can install also jawa. But sis recommended.
Almost all the S60 3rd generation has more nokia devices and few Samsungs. Including your device.
