I have done some moderating in the past to for several forums and it takes hard work to do it good!
First rule is that you don’t ask to become 1, if the current moderators want you, they’ll ask you in 1 way or another!
Second thing is that imo you have to bring the community something special, for example keeping the forum clean or giving the members a lot of help or other stuff in a positive way!

I have seen so many peeps asking for becoming a mod or want to get in like here super zone JUST TO HAVE IT and like a child can see to there friends: “He I’m a moderator here and there!”
Don’t take my reaction on your self just my opinion!

Hi Friends !

I understand every word you say.. "whocarez" ! As you
can see my history. I NEver asked for help yet.. But in
return posted some very interesting stuff. I am not too
keen in becoming a moderator right now because i still
need to get along with you guys. Know each other well.

I also Understand the work you guys are going into.
Like i dont get enought time to read all the post and you
guys over that do the editing and cleaning 24/7 !

GOOD WORK !

Hope I can set my self worthy in your community and
become one in the FAR FUTURE !

Your Guys Rock !

I hope you didn't take my words personal but on the other hand why do any1 wanna be moderator in the first place?
* To much responsibilities
* People nagging about not member+
* Almost 24/7 job
* etc. etc.

BUT on the other hand:
* It’s fun
* Get new friends, but you don’t have to be mod for that I guess?
* Make life a bit easier for the ones moderating
* Gives the forum a nice and outstanding touch
* etc. etc

p.s.: If a extra mod is needed my pm box is open hehehe

Almost forgot, i respect the work the current moderators do and i'm not flaming any1 here.
We all wanne be that this continues and is going to be a great well known forum under the right people!
