I'm working on a term paper for university. I've wanted to write about something easy with lots of resources so I've chosen to write about video game and their effects…
The teacher wants us to ask people questions about our subjects and use the results. So, it would really help me if you guys answered the following survey for me. I've included lots of questions to make sure I cover all that I might need.

16) What's your opinion regarding the following statement: "Video games are meant to be for children"? not true, video games uses materials to attract the adults, such as: violent, sex, horror, action, fast movements, & advanced techniques ...

17) When purchasing/renting a game, does the age rating effect your decision in getting the game? Yes, I don't buy kids rated stuff

18) Do you believe that the current ratings (if followed correctly) are effective? Usually; Yes.

19) Do you believe that video games affected your life in a certain way (positive or negative)? Yes, positively, maximized my imagination.

20) Do you believe that video games affected your behavior and/or reasoning in a certain way (positive or negative)? No, I can tell it is still a game! reality is another thing!

21) Do you believe that violent games make people (or at least some of them) more aggressive? I don't know about adults, for me; No, but for the kids; Yes it do make them more aggressive.

24) In general, how much do you consider the human mind affected by video games? I think it do maximizes the human imagination, specially the virtual-reality alike games, make the human mind go through some unusual experience, learning how to survive and to how to think under these unusual circumstances, the problem (as I think) accrues when the mind doesn't separate the reality from the illusion ... which is the game.

25) Between the followings, which do you consider to be the most harmful to the behavior of a child/teenager:

a. Movies (horror/action/…)
b. Violent cartoons.
c. Violent video games.

26) Do you think it makes a difference in video games if the player was only killing 'bad guys' without touching the innocents and 'good guys'? No, the player will learn how to kill any way, and will learn how to aim it's hate towards some thing.

I think video games affect the kids more than the adults, because I have seen how did the video games affected my younger brothers, till I had to limit their play-time to the lowest possible, and I encouraged them to read instead of playing video games.

To tell you the truth, I do believe that nowadays, kids have access to gaming facilities too easily. And besides, once they started playing, they develop an addiction for it, like they wanna play everyday
