Never know in this game what can happen. But Aussies proved themselves 3 times in a row, they are the World Champions !

Look the things are soo clear and simple ! Sri Lanka got robbed off its chance of wining the world title ! Even The ICC President malcolm speed apologised for that ! They only got to play few overs ! This was a World Cup Final !!! How can it be reduced to a 38 over game and on that too sri lanka got to play even lesser than that ! They should have post-ponned the game to a other day if such tragedy of rains come ! I bet Sri-lanka got a bit cheated here as no team can handle the pressure of world cup final and also being given addition tension of chasing the target , where the number of overs can be reducued any time !!! Imagine the difference !!!

You are making the classic mistake of finger pointing and making unnecessary excuses for SL losing the final.
If Australia had lost(if) they would say they played bad cricket and that SL deserved to win. Thats exactly what SL's skipper said after loosing. He knew it dosent matter if the game is 50 overs or 20 overs. It takes a good team performance to win. PERIOD. You can blame the conditions, wicket, weather, etc. But the bottom line is a match is played by two teams-the team that adjusts quickly to game conditions wins.
Give some credit to Aust. They have played wonderful cricket all summer, one of their best season performances. I wish too that other teams stand up the bullying, and play some tough cricket-not give excuses for loosing...
