اسم الكتاب: كليلة ودمنة

الوصف: ذا كتاب حكمة ولهو، كتبه الفيلسوف الهندي بيدبا، وجعل القصص والكلام على لسان الحيوانات رغبة في إيصال الحكمة بأقل كلفة، وبذلك يفهمه من كتب من أجله دون سواهم، وقد ترجمه إلى العربية عبد الله بن المقفع وذكر أنه كتاب يختاره الحكماء لحكمته، والأغرار للهوه، وأن من حفظه من الصغار الأحداث فإنه وإن لم يفهمه في الصغر, يجده كنزا في الكبر.
فأورد فيه مثلا : السمكات الثلاث، الأسد والثور، القرد والعدس وغيرها

الوصف:
الكتاب الذي طاف الدنيا بأرجائها، وتمثل فيه سحر الشرق، وترجم إلى معظم لغات العالم. طبع بالعربية لأول مرة في ألمانيا سنة (1825) بعناية المستشرق (هايخت) فأنجز منه ثمانية أجزاء، مع ترجمته إلى الألمانية، وتوفي قبل إتمام الكتاب، فأنجز الباقي تلميذه فليشر المتوفى سنة (1888م) ثم طبع مرات لا تحصى أهمها: طبعة مصطفى البابي الحلبي بمصر 1960م. تقول الحكاية الأم التي تبسط ظلالها على حكايا الكتاب: (أن الملك شهريار لم يكتف بعدما اكتشف خيانة زوجته بقتلها هي وجواريه وعبيده، بل صار كل يوم يأخذ بنتاً بكراً فيزيل بكارتها ويقتلها من ليلتها، فضج الناس وهربت بناتهم...فسألت شهرزاد أباها الوزير أن يقدمها لشهريار قائلة: (فإما أن أعيش، وإما ان أكون فداء لبنات المسلمين وسبباً لخلاصهن) وكان الوزير يطلع كل صباح بالكفن تحت إبطه، بينما ابنته شهرزاد تؤجل ميعاد موتها بالحكاية تلو الحكاية، حتى أنجبت للملك ثلاثة أولاد في ألف ليلة قضتها في قصره، وجعلته بحلاوة حديثها وطرافة حكاياها خلقاً آخر). ولا شك في أننا غير قادرين على تلخيص أثر هذا الكتاب منذ شاع ذكره في أوربا، وليس في وسعنا هنا إلا تقديم نموذج منها بكتاب (غوته وألف ليلة وليلة) للألمانية كاترينا مومسن، ترجمة د. أحمد الحمو (دمشق: 1980) حيث عاش غوته منذ نعومة أظفاره مع هذا الكتاب، وكان يحفظ حكاياته إلى درجة أنه كان يلعب دور شهرزاد عندما تتاح له الفرصة، وكان في صباه وفي شيخوخته يستخدم رموز الحكايات وصورها في رسائله، وكان بالنسبة له (كتاب عمره). كل ذلك والترجمة الألمانية لم تكن قد أنجزت بعد، وإنما كان يرجع إلى الترجمة الفرنسية المجتزئة التي قام بها المستشرق الفرنسي (أنطوان غالان) خلال الفترة (1704 - 1717م) وذلك قبل أ ن تظهر الترجمة الألمانية عام (1825م) مما جعل غوته يمضي آخر سني حياته مع هذه الترجمة، وكانت وفاته سنة (1832م). ونشير هنا إلى الطفرة التي اكتسبتها الدراسات الدائرة حول (ألف ليلة وليلة) نتيجة لتوثيق محسن مهدي للنسخ العربية في عمل صدر له في ليدن (1984م). وانظر مجموعة الرسومات التي صاحبت الترجمات الغربية لألف ليلة وليلة في كتاب (ألف ليلة وليلة: مقالات نقدية وببلوغرافية) كامبريدج، دار مهجر 1985م بالإنجليزية. و(ديوان الف ليلة وليلة) تحقيق عبد الصاحب العقابي: كتاب التراث الشعبي، عدد (1) بغداد 1980م ويقع في (577) صفحة مزودة بلوحات فنية (ط2 بغداد 1984م)

في هذا الكتاب:
تبحر الكاتبة نوال مصطفى في أعماق قصة حياة الأديبة والمفكرة الفريدة مي زيادة ... وتكشف أسراراً كانت لا تزال - حتى الآن – يكتنفها الغموض وتحيطها مساحة من الضباب! فهل أحبت مي؟ ومن هو صاحب قصة الحب الأسطورية في حياتها؟! هل أصيبت الأديبة - الظاهرة – مي بالجنون في أخريات أيامها أم كانت قصة مختلفة ومؤامرة خسيسة نسجت بذكاء لإغتيالها معنوياً ثم مادياً؟
