Default developing a symbian application

how can i develop a simple application for a symbian phone.
The model is Nokia 6220 and what it has to do is to put a predefined prefix in front of any number that is dialled.

any idea?

you need to pay $200 to get developer certificate... so you will be allowed to develope application and test it in your phone

or you can sign your app with developer certificate which you can get here.. but it's made for your IMEI so i guess the others won't be able to install it..

1st try to download sdk for 3rd devices with FP2

I am also interested on developing an application for my new phone a E71. Has anyone got an idea where can I download the SDK or any tutorial on the web on how to start doing my first Hello World for this phone.

just google it... "s60 sdk download"...
"symbian hello world"
and so on...

apps for symbian are developed in c++ (or python with python libraries installed, or.. dunno"...

I know there is Carbide IDE... [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]

just google, you don't need to ask.. you will only waste your time by waiting for answer... google it and you will have your answer in a few seconds don't be lazy

and for those that are familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio, there is Carbide plugin for Visual Studio.. so you don't need to use Eclipse IDE on which original Carbide is based
