To install updates, just copy paste the "savce.def & script.dis" into the following folder:
C:\system\apps\symcs
It should work then.

I had problems with Symantec Mobile on my N70. It would download updates but would fail to apply virus definition updates. Most recently it would not apply the Symantec Security update. I have uninstalled it & reinstalled. I did a search for updates, it downloaded & applied them. The phone restarted by itself & now liveupdate is not working. Anyone help?

Use the offline update and it should work well. It works well for me!

otherwise if problem occurs the try with auto-protect Off & firewall 0n
Extract FILES - Update For 2nd Nov'06 file for
savce.def & script.dis
Copy and Paste{overite}
them C:\system\Apps\symcs
OR
use sis file from SIS - Update For 2nd Nov'06 for direct installation!

Netqin Antivirus For S60
hello everyone i am new in this forum. I am just trying to put a new post on this thread.Hope it works weel
This is the antivirus i use and i found it quite good. Plese try it out and let me know your responses.
It works perfectly well on 6680 and has most of the common feature of other antivirus like.
1) Auto Update of virus definition Via web(gprs)
2) Auto monitor
3) Schedulled Scans etc
