Python 1.3.14 S60 SymbianOS
Python for S60 is Nokia's port of the Python language to the S60 smartphone platform. In addition to the standard features of the Python language, PyS60 provides access to many of the phone's uniquely smartphone-y functions, such as camera, contacts, calendar, audio recording and playing, TCP/IP and Bluetooth communications and simple telephony.
21 November 2006: Release the fith preview version of PyS60 1.3.14
New features :
* Added method "say" to module 'audio'. This method gives access to device's text-to-speech
engine(run on device since 2nd FP3 (N70 and N90) and also 3rd ed). The implementation is inspired by Artem Marchenko
* Added 'GLES' extension. OpenGL ES 1.0 module ported to PyS60 runned on all device since 2nd FP2 (6630) and rendering is hardware on N93 !!!
* Initial version of the contacts module for 3.0 has been added (with many bugs !)
