Just recently, Bytemobile has announced its new product/service called Unison Advertising Module (UAM) to allow mobile operators to serve ads in off-portal web pages on virtually all mobile devices. And while at first reading this may sound like a nightmare comes true, the end result looks very promising despite the fact that users may see website’s header and footer changed to accommodate the ads. Using Bytemobile’s new solution carriers could complement data revenues and provide their customers with more affordable plans while generating additional revenue from advertising.
Interested carriers should know that the UAM is part of the latest release of Bytemobile’s Unison Multi-Service Platform, and is fully integrated with their Unison Web Fidelity Service (WFS), which provides “intelligent content adaptation for open internet browsing” on virtually all handsets… Full release follows after the jump.
