ClayGun is an arcade-style score-based shooting game (shoot'emup). Year 2007
Professor Ishmael Moriarty has invented a device that allows the transformation of human psychotic energy into everyday usage. The device was unperfected and had a side effect - sometimes it materialized the fantasies/nightmares of the people used to produce the energy. This effect was uncontrolled. The Prof - an honest and respected person (an active member of the committee for prohibiting experiments on animals) was going to present his invention to a grateful humankind, but only after making sure the side effects were under control. He kept his experiments in great secrecy because he was afraid that the device would fall into the wrong hands. As a result the only person available for his experiments was his nephew Hugo Moriarty - a neurotic teenager accused of killing a trigonometry teacher. During one of the experiments Hugo changed the red and green wires on the device, simply for the want of something better to do. Psychotic energy overdose made the professor crazy. Hugo received an energetic punch but with a different effect - from that moment onwards he could materialize his fantasies any time he wanted using the device.
Year 2027.
Hugo rules the world. Old cities were pillaged and new were born. The creatures of Hugo's morbid fantasies and his evil minions were spread everywhere. In his free time Hugo studies origami and hunts his mad uncle that had invented a super weapon that allowed to deprive Hugo of the abilities aquired during the experiment - The ClayGun. Four heroes are on their way to capture ClayGun and defeat the evil.
